Infrastructure & Government Contract Disputes
- BTSC (BTS Green Line) – Successfully represented Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC) in landmark Administrative Court proceedings concerning the BTS Green Line extensions. WCP secured decisive victories for BTSC at all judicial levels, including the Supreme Administrative Court. The courts confirmed the validity and enforceability of the relevant agreements, enabling BTSC to recover more than THB 30 billion in outstanding payments and default interest.
- China Railway No. 10 (Thailand) – Represented the client in high-stakes administrative and contractual disputes arising from major public infrastructure projects with an aggregate dispute value exceeding THB 1.5 billion. WCP achieved a significant procedural victory by obtaining rare interim injunctive relief against a state entity, restraining the drawdown of a first-demand bank guarantee pending final determination of the dispute. The relief preserved the client’s position, mitigated substantial financial risk, and demonstrated WCP’s ability to secure exceptional remedies in complex disputes involving government authorities.
- Sinohydro (Thailand) – Advised and represented one of China’s leading state-owned construction groups in disputes arising from major government construction projects with a combined contract value exceeding THB 1 billion.
- Thai Slurry Seal – Successfully challenged administrative delays in a government procurement process, resulting in the prompt announcement of the tender winner and resolution of the dispute.
- Leading Thai Construction Company – Advised on high-value disputes more than THB 1 billion arising from government construction contracts, involving coordinated civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings.
Insurance & Financial Services
- Syn Mun Kong Insurance (SMK) – Represented SMK in one of Thailand’s most significant administrative law disputes arising from regulatory restrictions on the termination of Covid-19 insurance policies, involving claims of approximately THB 43.5 billion.
- Southeast Asia Insurance & Thai Insurance – Represented the insurers in Administrative Court proceedings concerning regulatory orders issued by the Office of Insurance Commission, involving alleged losses of approximately THB 9.5 billion.
Property, Permits & Business Rights
- Land Title Revocation Dispute – Represented a subsidiary of a leading energy group in proceedings concerning the revocation of strategic land titles essential to its LPG operations valued at approximately THB 3.5 billion.
- Asset World Corporation (AWC) – Represented AWC in high-value disputes relating to hotel development, environmental impact assessment issues, and construction permits, involving claims valued at approximately THB 2.4 billion.
- Koh Samui Demolition Order – Successfully obtained interim relief suspending enforcement of a Marine Department demolition order affecting villa developments in Koh Samui, protecting the client from immediate demolition and significant administrative penalties.
- Ashton Asoke Landmark Case – Represented Ananda Development in one of Thailand’s most significant Administrative Court cases concerning construction permits and access rights over expropriated land, with implications for the broader real estate sector.
- Leading Real Estate Developers – Advised and represented major developers in Administrative Court proceedings involving building control regulations, land use issues, and development approvals.
- Cha-Am Phumiphat Group – Successfully defended land title deeds valued at more than THB 100 million in a landmark dispute involving multiple government authorities.
- Leading Hotel Operators – Advised and represented hotel owners and operators on regulatory approvals, land lease issues, business operating rights, and disputes involving government authorities.

Telecommunications & Regulated Industries
- DTAC – Successfully represented DTAC in multiple landmark Administrative Court proceedings involving telecommunications concessions, regulatory approvals, spectrum rights, and public-private arrangements.
- DTAC Subscriber Protection Case – Secured a temporary injunction against a National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) resolution, enabling DTAC to continue providing services to subscribers pending the licensing process.
- DTAC Asset Injunction Case – Successfully obtained the lifting of injunctions affecting assets valued at approximately THB 3.5 billion, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
- DTN v. CAT – Successfully defended claims valued at THB 449 million, with the Administrative Court affirming the client’s rights relating to telecommunications equipment and spectrum licenses.
- AIS v. TOT – Represented AIS in proceedings arising from telecommunications concession disputes involving claims of approximately THB 40 billion, successfully defending the arbitration award before both the Central Administrative Court and the Supreme Administrative Court.
- Reed Tradex – Represented one of ASEAN’s leading exhibition organizers in Administrative Court proceedings concerning business operating rights and corporate governance matters.
