Recent Experience
- Representation of the Government of Thailand, Office of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in the contract management of the Public-Private Partnership Agreement for High-Speed Rail Linking 3 Airports, the investment value of which is approximately USD 7,900 million. We assisted the EEC in monitoring and ensuring the contracting parties’ full compliance with such agreement and provided EEC with solutions for solving certain issues relating to the contracting parties’ performance of their obligations under such agreement. (2021-2023)
- Representation of the Government of Thailand, Office of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) on the development of future public-private partnership projects in the Business Centre and Livable Smart City Project. Weerawong C&P provided assistance in legal research, legal analysis, and resolution of legal obstacles, rules, or regulations related to the implementation of the Smart New City Project. The firm also provided advice on fundraising for the development and management of the project.
- Engaged by the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT), Ministry of Transport as an advisor in relation to the public private projects (PPP Projects) valued at THB 30.6 billion (USD 979 million) in the Laem Chabang Port. The firm is a general advisor for the PAT in relation to issues on the PPP Project at Laem Chabang Port including advising the PAT on its various project agreements and negotiating with private entities.
- Advised Department of Highways (DOH) as the advisor to provide retainer-based advice related to motorway management.
