Nattanicha Siamnikorn is an associate in the foreign direct investment practice group at Weerawong C&P. She advises multinational corporations on a wide range of legal and business matters relating to foreign direct investment and general corporate affairs in Thailand. Her practice focuses on structuring market entry strategies, corporate governance and structuring, establishing legal entities, obtaining regulatory approvals and licenses, and ensuring ongoing compliance with Thai laws and regulations.
She has experience in corporate governance, commercial transactions, cross-border investments, and regulatory compliance. Her practice also extends to post-establishment legal compliance, day-to-day corporate and commercial advisory work, and operational structuring to support clients' long-term business objectives and sustainable growth in Thailand. Experience
- Advised an international advertising agency and e-commerce company on commercial transactions under a long-term engagement, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and cross-border legal matters with trade partners in Thailand and abroad.
- Represented Changan Automobile as general counsel, providing extensive legal services including contract advice, preliminary forensic investigations and due diligence on counterparties for transactions and projects, including government procurement agreements.
- Represented Beijing Haoyang Cloud Data Technology Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese hyperscale data center provider, on its strategic investment in Haoyang Data Center 1 (Thailand) Limited. This landmark project involves the development of a 300-megawatt hyperscale facility in Rayong Province, backed by a total investment exceeding USD 2.2 billion (THB 72.67 billion). Weerawong C&P acted as lead counsel on all Thai legal matters, including corporate structuring, securing BOI promotion, and managing regulatory approvals.
- Represented companies across various business sectors, including the automotive industry, data centers, and software development, on investment structuring and regulatory compliance for obtaining BOI promotion, including preparation of project proposals, license applications, and coordination with relevant authorities.
- Assisted multinational clients in diverse industries such as renewable energy (solar power),
e-commerce, digital platforms, IT and software development, data centers, electric vehicles (EV), and manufacturing, with the establishment of business operations in Thailand. This included incorporation, licensing, and structuring of foreign shareholding in accordance with Thai law.
- Supported foreign investors in obtaining Foreign Business Licenses and Foreign Business Certificates under the Foreign Business Act and the U.S.-Thailand Treaty of Amity for a wide range of business activities.
- Provided comprehensive legal support on general corporate and regulatory matters, including liaising with government authorities, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on corporate governance, and conducting legal due diligence for investment and expansion projects.
