represented major corporations in many of the country's most complex and high-profile cases. He has
expertise in a wide range of industries, including construction and engineering, consumer products,
energy (oil and gas and renewables), government and public sector, hotels and real estate,
insurance, logistics, and telecommunications and media technology. He also has expertise in banking
and finance, international trade, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the Firm, Rapinnart was

natural gas price and electricity charges in Thailandbetween 2012 and 2014. The dispute involved the
complex energy market andrelated energy regulations in Thailand.

CompanyLimited regarding a transactional dispute concerning the acquisition of a power plant of
another leadingpower plant owner in Thailand. Assisting Global Green Chemical Public Company
Limitedin criminal cases against its senior management and its suppliers inrelation to
systematic fraud valued at approximately THB 2,100 million(approximately USD 70 million) at
the Economic Crime Suppression Office. Representation of PTT Public Company Limitedin the largest market
capitalization on the Stock Exchange of Thailand as aresult of the corporatization and privatization
of the Petroleum Authority ofThailand. In the Supreme AdministrativeCourt, the client
succeeded in having a suit attempting to de-list andprivatize it dismissed. This high-profile win
helped to prevent severe damageto the structure of capital markets in Thailand. Manufacturing Representation of a
listed subsidiary of anenergy group in a dispute in relation to an inventory shortfall valued
atTHB 2.1 billion (USD 69 million), advising on the investigation into the causeof the shortfall,
reporting to the Stock Exchange of Thailand and providing comprehensive,integrated services in order
to resolve the issues at every stage of a widerange of in court and out-of-court proceedings,
including media and publicrelations communications. Representation of a rayon company, theleading manufacturer of
viscose staple fiber in Thailand, in defending anenvironmental law claim and class action filed by
residents, as well as aDepartment of Special Investigations proceedings in connection with the tort
ofnuisance and related damages. Representation of a
Thailand-based companyengaged in the manufacture and sale of carbon black, which is
suppliedto global markets including Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, China, Korea,Taiwan and
Australia, in the appeal process in relation to an environmentallawsuit claiming damages suffered
from environmental impact from the carbonmanufacturing operations. Representation of Posco Plantec (Thailand)Company Limited, part of the
POSCO Group, a leading company in Korea andworldwide, in successfully resolving a USD 5.7 million
arbitration claim in relation to the construction of arecycling plant. Representation ofThai
SteelCable Public Company Limited, a leadingautomobile parts manufacturing company, in
litigation against its supplier forcomplex inherent defects in automobile
parts. Representationof Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance
Company Limited (Thailand), part ofthe largest insurance group in Japan and worldwide, in
successfully defending aTHB 2.154 billion complex litigation claim (approximately USD 69 million)
madeby a major multinational automobile company, the plaintiff. The court of firstinstance dismissed
all the plaintiff’s claims. This case also set the precedentthat an insurance claim in relation to
business operations is a civil case,rather than a consumer case, thereby shifting the burden of
proof to theplaintiff and barring claims for punitive damages. Representation of a leadingmedical supply company
in domestic and international litigation andarbitration in Thailand, Singapore, Austria and
Switzerland to resolve disputesin relation to a long-term international joint venture agreement. In
March 2017,the litigation team worked with the M&A and finance teams to finalize theresolution
of these disputes, thereby achieving the clients’ goal of gainingcontrol of the company valued at

Administrative Court case inconnection with CAT Telecom Public Company Limited and

CommunicationPublic Company Limited (DTAC), one of the largest mobile
andtelecommunication providers in Thailand, in successfully resolving anadministrative case and
having an injunction lifted in relation to a high-profiledispute with CAT Telecom Public Company
Limited regarding a concession contractvalued at THB 3.5 billion. Real

Pacific Phuket, Co., Ltd.,one of the largest property development companies in Phuket,
Thailand in adispute at the Singapore International Arbitration Center in connection with

proceedings claiming over THB 10 billion compensationfrom a Thai government authority for wrongful
